  • Carrots (shredded) - 2 cup
  • Celery (shredded) - 1 cup
  • White onions (thinly sliced) - 1/2 cup
  • Red bell pepper (thinly sliced) - 1/2 cup
  • Bean sprouts - 1 cup
  • Green onion (thinly sliced) - 1/4 cup
  • White vinegar - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Sesame oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Light soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Chili oil or hot sauce - 1/2 tsp (or more if you like it spicy)

Healthy Sweet and Sour Carrot Salad cooking instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all the vegetable ingredients, and make sure to mix well
  • In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, and chili oil
