Cheese & Turkey Panini Recipe

Panini in Italian mans small bread and refers to a pressed sandwich. You can easily prepared this Turkey Panini recipe in under 20 minutes.

Turkey Panini Recipe Ingredients

Fat Free Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
Basil pesto - 4 tsp
Turkey breast (cooked and sliced) - 8 oz
Sourdough bread (thin sliced) - 8
Provolone cheese (thin sliced) - 2 oz
Tomato slices - 8 slices

Cooking Instructions

  • Combine mayonnaise and pesto, and stir well.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of this mixture on each of 4 slices
  • Place 2 oz of sliced turkey on each slice of bread
  • Place 2 slices of tomato on top of the turkey
  • Finally top off the Turkey Panini with another slice of bread
  • Preheat grill pan or skillet on medium heat, coated with non-stick cooking spray
  • Cook 3 minutes each side or until the desired golden brown
